The global plan to stop TB will treat 32 million people and save 5 million lives, but only if it could be carried out.
The partnership said that $47 billion ( 34B euros) will save 5 million lives by 2015 , but so far there is a 9 billion dollar shortfall.
Unless the global funding is increased 10 million people will die.
"Ten billion is needed to fund research to develop a vaccine, for new medication and faster TB testing," said the coalition.
The coalition is calling on high income countries to donate 2.8 billion to fill in the funding gap.
