Smoking is bad for your lungs, but the damage to your health and body goes further and beyond the lungs. Smoking increases the risk for about 15 types of cancers, for example. Smoking is also responsible for 10 million deaths worldwide every year, 1:5 deaths in the USA is caused by cigarette smoke.
Smoking increased the risks for many diseases including:
- Alzheimer's
- Heart disease
- The Skin
- Pregnancy
- Diabetes
Smoking is a cause of many diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and tuberculosis.
