Green Tea Has No Breast Cancer Benefits

Although green tea has been prized for it's health benefits, researchers couldn't prove that the tea prevents breast cancer.

Fifty-four thousand Japanese women participated in the study over 5 years.
The research showed that regardless of how many cups of green tea the women drank there were no benefits at all. The study was done to measure the effect of green tea on breast cancer.
Green tea has antioxidants benefits and is effective in weight control.
Through patient health education it is possible to learn to prevent breast cancer and other diseases.

More TB Deaths Expected

The global plan to stop TB will treat 32 million people and save 5 million lives, but only if it could be carried out.

The partnership said that $47 billion ( 34B euros) will save 5 million lives by 2015 , but so far there is a 9 billion dollar shortfall.

Unless the global funding is increased 10 million people will die.

"Ten billion is needed to fund research to develop a vaccine,  for new medication and faster TB testing," said the coalition.

The coalition is calling on high income countries to donate 2.8 billion to fill in the funding gap.

Researchers found hypnosis to be effective in perioperative pain control; in dermatologic  and cosmetic procedures hypnosis can reduce or eliminate the pain.
Hypnosis can actually make the patient feel local anesthesia effect so there is no pain associated with the surgery.
Hypnosis can be used alone or with local anesthetic.
Some studies also support hypnosis for control of pain and found that hypnotic suggestion is effective in relieving pain due to heart disease, cancer, burn injury and dental problems.

Men's sperm counts are falling according to a recent research. More men between 18 and 25 produce abnormal sperm. Apparently, only 5-15 % of their sperm is good enough to be considered normal. In comparison more than 90% of the sperms of a bull, ram or rat are normal. The human male have more reproductive problems which may be the cause of infertility. They have more congenital defects, cancer, impotence and undecended testes.

A recent study based on two surveys shows that 4:10 men over 75 are still having sex while only 2:10 women do. The surveys were each of 3000 men and women at the Chicago University. One group was aged 25-74 and the other aged 57-85. High Blood Pressure Linked To Dementia

Researchers have found another reason for controlling blood pressure. A low blood pressure may be the answer to preventing dementia. White matter acts as the brain telephone network, but only a slightly raised blood pressure can damage the vessels that nourish it. Scarring known as white matter lesions was found in the brains of women with high blood pressure. Researchers studied 1,403 women 65 years and older. They participated in a memory initiative that tracked post-menopausal health. They found that 8 years later those with high blood pressure had significantly more scarring .
